Both Paige and Diane Bowen boast strong design and retail resumes and share a love of all things vintage and found. Diane, an industry-veteran, ran her own retail stores, manufacturing facilities and design services for many years. Her retail exploits span from Downtown Santa Monica to Downtown Los Angeles most recently. She has always specialized in both one of a kind pieces as well as unique South American and European imports. Having been raised in the industry, Paige built on her design pedigree at both the University of Arizona and FIDM. She later went on to work for a prominent Los Angeles designer for several years where she built her reputation among high profile and celebrity clientele before deciding to step out on her own. Though they have often collaborated over the years, Bowen House represents their first manufacturing/retail endeavor together - an exciting natural progression, many years in the making! In the spring of 2015, the pair decided to make a bold move and opened their joint manufacturing operation, with their first retail location shortly following in the Fall of the same year. The pair are known for their one-of-a-kind pieces. From concept design through manufacturing, furniture is conceived of and custom made in Los Angeles at Bowen House by their expert in-house carpenters. Their retail location boasts custom furniture, beautifully curated vintage pieces, architectural elements and design services. Welcome and thank you for visiting us!
